MB-N12 multifunction hand grip Nikon Z8

For portrait and event photographers, sports photographers or landscape photographers looking for a more balanced feel in vertical shooting options, the MB-N12 power battery is the ideal companion for the Nikon Z8. The MB-N12 extends shooting time by 1,8x (CIPA standard) for the Z8 compared to the single battery in the camera alone, along with the convenience of a vertical shutter release, main and sub dials, multi selector, Fn button and AF-ON button. Complementing the Nikon Z 8, the MB-N12 lets you focus on capturing more moments without worrying about battery life. Thanks to its ergonomically shaped handle, it offers a firm and secure grip, even when a long telephoto lens is attached. The MB-N12 also offers the versatility of hot-swapping a battery, as well as the ability to charge and deliver via USB.

The MB-N12 power battery was developed to extend the battery life of the Nikon Z8. It accommodates two rechargeable EN-EL15c/EN-EL15b/EN-EL15a Li-ion batteries and has the appropriate dust and drop resistance.

You can even charge the two EN-EL15c batteries in the MB-N12 via USB using the EH-7P Charging AC Adapter or the EH-8P AC Adapter. (The optional UC-E8 USB cable is required to use the EH-25P.)

One of the two batteries in the MB-N12 is hot-swappable, meaning you can remove either battery and the AC adapter will continue to power the Nikon Z 8 without interrupting shooting, as long as the remaining battery still has power.

The MB-N12 is also compatible with EN-EL15b and EN-EL15a rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. With the EH-7P, it takes five hours to fully charge the two batteries in the MB-N12.

Multifunctional handle MB-N12 fast delivery

A big thank you to the Nikon Service Point Dresden for the fast delivery. I ordered the handle on Sunday, it was shipped straight away on Monday and it arrived on Tuesday. It doesn't get any faster! Now to the MB-N12 itself. This makes the Z8 quite a bit larger, which is particularly advantageous when handling large telephoto lenses. Especially when taking photos in portrait format, holding the camera is much more comfortable and secure. The larger capacity of the batteries is also a significant advantage. It's just a shame that there isn't yet a sensible and affordable L-angle for this combination like there is for the Z7II.
