You will receive more detailed information and a time frame for collection from UPS by e-mail. You do not need the shipping label, the driver has already prepared it and attached it to your package. Your submission can be tracked seamlessly via a Track & Trace link sent by email. Outbound and return shipments are covered by Safe & Secure insurance (full insurance protection for your devices in the event of loss or damage). Delivery times are approx. 1-3 working days.

NOTE

Submission label received by email: During our shop opening hours, your send-in label will be created within 5-20 minutes and ready to be printed out in the e-mail inbox as a PDF. Service orders booked outside store opening hours will receive the shipping label by email before 08:30 a.m. on the next working day. Furthermore, all shipping labels are valid for 5 working days. Unfortunately, it is not possible to estimate and communicate repair costs remotely. Errors can be more complex than the error description conveys, but they can also be just as simple. Therefore, our technician will examine your device thoroughly and only then prepare a detailed estimate that lists all the necessary work with working hours and the costs for any spare parts that may be required. We hope that with this procedure we can offer you the best possible support in order to repair your device as quickly as possible.

Our Nikon technicians will individually inspect your device to provide a detailed estimate. You will then receive this cost estimate conveniently by e-mail. (Price estimate creation in 1-2 working days)

The following options are available to you in the cost estimate:

Repair according to estimate.
(Diagnosis fee of 29 € does not apply)

After your written confirmation, we will start the repair.

Send back unrepaired.
(Diagnosis flat rate = €29 due. Not per device, if your order includes 5 devices, for example, €29 will be charged for the entire order)

We will send your device(s) back to you unrepaired.

Professional & free disposal.
(Diagnosis fee of 29 € does not apply)

We will dispose of your device(s) professionally and free of charge.

Is there still a guarantee? Include a copy of the invoice with the package. It doesn't matter where the devices were purchased.

We only need the defective devices. If the error cannot be localized, then of course all relevant ones.

Warranty:
Put the guarantee card and proof of purchase (copy) in the package.  

To be on the safe side, send as few attachments and accessories as possible.

- Battery (unless it is not original or the error probably comes from the battery)

- Memory card (unless there are pictures on it that show an error or the error probably comes from the memory card) 

- Camera strap

- Original packaging

- Filters

- Batteries (e.g. flash unit)

- Monitor protection

- Charging cable or charging station (unless these devices have a defect)

Please allow 2-3 business days for round-trip shipping.

Our Nikon technician will determine the cause and scope of troubleshooting. You will receive an estimate via email within 1-2 business days. Then decide how to proceed.

If the estimate is confirmed, Repair time depends on the error pattern and the associated repair effort, as well as the availability of required spare parts (if necessary).

If there is still a guarantee, simply enclose a copy of the invoice with your package.

It doesn't matter where you bought your devices.

Personal delivery / collection in Dresden, Schweizer Str. 3a is possible during opening hours without an appointment.

As you would expect, all operations at the Nikon Service Point Dresden are carried out by trained Nikon specialists.

If it is a repair under Warranty is concerned, the product and accompanying documentation will first be checked to ensure that the warranty applies.

If the repair is covered under warranty, the product will go through the standard repair process. Once the process is complete, the product will be shipped or ready for collection. We will inform you about the completion and return shipment via e-mail.  

Paid repair:

Quotations prepared by the Nikon technician can be accepted or rejected at any time.
Refusing a cost estimate will result in your device being returned.
