ED glass (Extra-Low Dispersion) ED glass is an optical glass developed by Nikon that is used in combination with regular optical glass in telephoto lenses to achieve optimal correction of chromatic aberrations.

Short wavelength (SR) refractive lens SR is a high and special dispersion glass lens that refracts light with wavelengths shorter than blue.
