ED glass and aspherical lenses deliver particularly high resolution and very good contrast. In addition, Nikon's image stabilization system enables clear, sharp images even when shooting handheld at super telephoto. When you're on the go, the lens zoom mechanism can be locked in place with a switch.

For DX format, with 16,7x zoom: 18-300mm focal range (FX format equivalent: 27-450mm). Covers an extremely wide range of focal lengths from wide-angle to super-telephoto.
