The phase Fresnel lens (PF) contributes to a noticeably lower weight of this fixed focal length - without sacrificing image quality. The low close-up limit of just 3 m increases creative potential. Whether detailed shots of flowers covered in frost or portraits of athletes. For even more flexibility, you can increase the focal length with an optional Nikon 1,4x, 1,7x or 2x teleconverter¹.

Keeping up with action and light. The Nikon image stabilizer (VR) with SPORT mode takes away the worry about camera shake in every situation. 

Nikon's VR (Vibration Reduction) system compensates for camera shake during exposure. This allows you to expose up to 4 EV stops longer than without VR without blurring.² The image stabilizer works extremely quietly and is activated as soon as you press the shutter button halfway. The VR mode "SPORT" is particularly helpful when tracking and tracking particularly fast subjects. It ensures a steady viewfinder image, even with fast continuous shooting, without sacrificing image quality.
