Dust- and drip-resistant, the MB-N11 multi-function battery pack features a shutter button and controls for vertical shooting. When the camera is in a vertical position, this multi-function grip offers a stable hold.

For longer shoots, you can swap out the batteries without turning off the camera. You can also power the camera via USB. When shooting movies with a rig or remotely, the camera's USB port remains free thanks to the multi-function grip and can be used to communicate with external devices. This multi-function battery pack also features a USB-C port that allows two batteries to be charged continuously while the multi-function battery pack is not connected to the camera.

Expensive but very useful

Finally available again - the MB-N11. And eagerly awaited, since the "small" Z6 ii caused pressure marks on my palm with its edge on the lower right during longer reportage assignments and heavy lenses. The handle now extends the contact surface of the photo hand very comfortably. This was the main reason for the purchase. On the other hand, this leads to more weight – you have to weigh up what is more important to you.

In addition, as a side effect, I am of course pleased about the option of being able to trigger more conveniently in portrait format and the combination of two batteries. The function assignment option for the new buttons appears immediately in the camera menu. The contact with the Nikon Service Point Dresden was fast, very friendly and solution-oriented. Shipping was also very fast. Everything is wonderful.
